Update on the Anambra State Association World-Wide ( ASA-World’s ) 2023 Medical Outreach and other Diaspora Engagement in Anambra State

Preparations for the 2023 Anambra State Association World-Wide Diaspora engagements re free medical outreach, Education, Micro-Finance and Benevolence outreaches are in the works. We are “fire up and ready to go”.

So, it’s time for those interested in making a difference in the lives of our brethren that are less privileged and those living at the margin to join us on this noble endeavor.

Mssion’s purpose(s):

To offer Free Medical Services to the under-privileged, to save lives of the impoverished people of the Anambra State of Nigeria and to contribute to the capacity building initiatives of the government of the day’s blueprint for growth and sustainable development of Anambra State of Nigeria, our home state/homeland; “the light of the nation.

Logistics/modalities of sponsoring a town:

$4,00.00 (four thousand dollars – US) or “the going Naira equivalent of the day” if the sponsor wishes to pay in Naira, paid into the ASA-World’s dollars or Naira account in Nigeria by the sponsor(s).

Similar policy applies to sponsoring of all the diaspora engagement pertinent programs re Education, Micro-Finance, Benevolence.

Fund/ medical equipment -supplies needed:

Medications, surgical, medical supplies, wheelchairs, walkers and other supplies are usually critical to this year’s diaspora engagement.

These things are purchased and in most cases, shipped to Nigeria in advance of the respective outreach date(s). Sponsorship and donations to these noble programs are not limited to members. Sourcing financially bouyant friends, philantropists and all around good people to help are strongly encouraged. Thank you!

While we appreciate all prospective sponsors, it is imperative that sponsors are mindful that medications, medical supplies and pertinent equipments required for this December Mission are usually ordered early to ensure that medications in particular, arrive on time for the medical outreach.

Overwhelming number of Clinicians, physicians, pharmacists, Nurses, Dentists, Optometrists, Opticians, Specialists in all medical fields,Social workers and pertinent professionals in all walks of lives are welcome to “VOLUNTEER”.

Members and affiliates from our global network are herewith appealed to assist in scouting sponsors, donnors, financially and otherwise to this marquee community development initiatives.

Participation to all ASA-World’s community development initiatives are open to all. Non-Anambra indegines are welcome.

Clinicians, physicians, pharmacists, Nurses, Dentists, Optometrists, Opticians, Specialists willing to volunteer their time, equipment and money are welcome (No restriction on the basis of state of origin; non-Anambra volunteers willing to support are welcome).

Duration of the 2023 Diaspora Engagement:

December 18 through 23, 2023.

All participants, Local/International Members; Doctors , Nurses, Medical Professionals and volunteers are expected to arrive at the Hotel no later than December 17th in anticipation of the outreaches scheduled to comence on December 18, 2023.

All Outreaches terminates on Saturday December 23, 2023
